Vampire Description

The Whisper That Survived

In the heart of a forgotten village swallowed by fog and time, a child was born beneath a blood moon. His cries were silent, his eyes already aware—too aware. The villagers whispered that the boy was touched by something ancient. They named him Jevjams, after an old word that meant *echo* because they swore he carried the voice of the dead.

Jevjams grew up an outsider, speaking to shadows and sleepwalking into the woods for nights on end. At seventeen, he vanished without a trace—only to return years later, pale, powerful, and no longer bound by human needs.

He had been taken by a splinter sect of the Nightborn clan, exiles who fed not just on blood but on emotion—guilt, fear, lust. They called themselves the *Veilborn*. There, Jevjams learned to use his voice like a weapon—able to enchant, terrify, or seduce with a whisper.

But he didn't stay with them.

After draining the sect’s high priest during a power struggle, Jevjams fled into the world, a vampire with no master, no loyalty, and no past—only a hunger to carve his own myth. He now walks Lamentosa with a smirk and a dagger coated in silverleaf, offering deals to the desperate and riddles to the dying.

They say if you hear someone softly humming behind you just before sleep, it's already too late. That’s Jevjams, and he doesn’t knock.

He offers no mercy—but sometimes, if he likes you, he offers a choice.
